Empower, Educate & Encourage
The most vulnerable youth and families.
Project Joy is the Backbone Agency (2020-22) for LA County Department of Public Health AAIMM (African American Infant and Maternal Mortality) prevention initiative in the Antelope Valley (SPA-1). The focus is on medical equity and the opportunity for a joyous and healthy birth for black birthing families. To get involved and view LA County wide events visit the AAIMM website at blackinfantsandfamilies.org
Project Joy is honored to be part of “the village” and offers a pop up baby boutique every quarter in the Antelope Valley as it’s contribution to the wellbeing of children and families. We provide free diapers, new clothing and essential baby supplies to reduce stress and help birthing families as they welcome home their new bundle of joy.
